About Katy – The Heart Behind Beauty for Ashes

Hi, I’m Katy. 💕

Beauty for Ashes was born out of my own journey through loss, faith, and healing. My story is one of deep grief, but also of incredible redemption.

Years ago, I faced a heartbreak I never expected—I lost my fiancé just two months before our wedding day. 💔 The life we had planned together, the dreams we had built, all changed in an instant. Grief consumed me in ways I never imagined. Then, just a short time later, I experienced another devastating loss—my baby girl, Bella. The pain of losing her was unlike anything else, and suddenly, I found myself carrying the weight of two profound losses.

I know what it feels like to have your world shattered. I understand what it’s like to grieve both a future that never came to be and a love that never got to fully bloom. But through it all, I also discovered something deeper—God’s faithfulness in the midst of suffering.

Isaiah 61:3 became my anchor: "To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning." This verse reminded me that even in the darkest seasons, God is still writing a story of redemption.

💖 Beauty for Ashes isn’t just a clothing brand—it’s a message. It’s for every woman who has walked through loss, heartbreak, and seasons of struggle, yet still chooses to stand in faith. Each design is crafted to speak hope, strength, and healing, reminding you that your story matters, your grief is valid, and you are never alone.

As I launch my first collection, the Bella Collection, I do so in honor of every mama who has experienced pregnancy loss. This is for you—the mother who carries love in her heart for a child she never got to hold long enough. Your pain is seen. Your love is forever. And your strength is unmatched. 🕊️💗

Through grief, I found purpose. Through pain, I found faith. And through God’s grace, I found a way to turn my ashes into something beautiful. My prayer is that Beauty for Ashes brings you comfort, encouragement, and a deep knowing that God is turning your pain into something greater than you ever imagined.
